  • The main aim is to get to understand what Time Sensitive Networking is, how it works, what is possible, and what is not.
  • Understand how the information models are representing the hardware.
  • Understand what measures/configurations/methods help for what aim.
  • Get an overview of TSN related to industrial communications and sound industrial communication technologies.

Bio of the presenters

Santiago Soler Perez Olaya was born in Spain. He studied Telecommunications Engineering (Bachelor) at the Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche (UMH). After some years working as hardware engineer for different companies in Spain and lecturing at the UMH for one and a half year, he moved to Dresden in Germany. He studied electrical engineering (master) at the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). Nowadays is researcher at the TUD in the chair of industrial communications lead by Professor Wollschlaeger. His main research topic is network management in heterogeneous industrial networks.
